Shawl
I finished a plain, simple garter shawl with the blue glitter stuff on Sunday (thank you Beth for the idea!). Blocked it by threading a curtain rod through the top loops and hung it from the living room window with a hammer hanging to extend the bottom point. The curtain rod is ruined but the shawl is beautiful and done and I don't have to torture myself by saving that tangled bit and I even have the most perfect pin for it.

I have avoided blocking the shawl...by ignoring it. I'm focused on finishing the cat-barf shawl for my mom and STARTING some socks so I can knit and talk with ease this Friday at the knitting group.
Glad you had fun with the shawl - it's definitely a go-to pattern for me when I want something simple yet elegant.
