I wish you could see the snow falling here. It's just beautiful. The birch tree out back is shining silver and full with it and its just the prettiest thing ever.
My knitting list has been modified extensively. I haven't left out the chicken though. A Tomten has to have a chicken.

So how is the chicken going?
I went through sticker-shock at my LYS when I had to buy Lopi (and not just have it in my stash from Smiley's LOL) I still want to make my boss a pair of mittens (by tomorrow!) but I have to figure out if I can afford the $14!
I have a pattern for gauntlet mittens somewhere! I actually made a "sedated" version of it for Brian a few years ago--just takes more time because you have to do the increases for the flair at the bottom, then decrease back down...but they are very nice!
